Standards are great for beginners, generally over 1 ounce.

Reekalfs are a middle range weight, less than 1 ounce.

Minis are great for cobweb to lace weight yarns, not recommended for beginners.

These Turkish spindles are laser engraved on the face of the larger arm. They are a mid sized spindle and range in weight from 0.7 to 0.8 ounces. They are good for a light to fingering weight single. They can store up to 2 ounces on the arms.
