Never used a drop spindle, ordered this because it was pretty and looked fun. It shipped fast. It was way easy to work with. Later I found out that everyone who's anyone loves all the spindles from snyder.

I've these spindles. Not only are they beautifully well crafted, but the customer service is excellent and came with speedy shipping.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. He LOVES it. We adopted a 4 year old husky last year and with him blowing his coat twice a year he’s been threatening to make a husky to “replace” him. He started to collect his fur thinking of spinning it into yarn. 😂 Now he has the ability to do it! He has not started yet but he’s super excited and has found a local spinners group. My husband is also into disaster preparation so this will be a fantastic skill for him to have under his belt. Thank you so much!
