It features a hand-turned 2.5" diameter whorl made from Baltic birch ply, with a 8" (~7 3/16" under whorl) long Hard Maple shaft with a dinner bell hook.
Stained Gun stock and sealed.
I hand turn these with the mass to the rim for better balance and longer spin.

The center cutouts not only makes it lighter it puts the majority of the mass to the rim and that's a good thing. Who doesn't want 20 notches?

Original order for the celtic spindle was not in stock, so Scott replaced it with the 45 spindle. Great communication, spindle is nice and just light enough, long spin time, and easy to ply on the fly with. Thank you!
