The only trade off for not sitting in a landfill for future super intelligent apes to find is the glass transition temperature of PLA (temperature where the plastic gets soft) is 60–65 °C. This is a good size; the handle is not so big that it is awkward. Shipping was really fast.

Excellent quality 3D print! Snyder clearly understands that a lucet should have curved edges to prevent the yarn from snagging. I didn't feel any need to sand this, which is impressive for 3D printed items. It is thick enough to be easy to hold. It is sturdy and I love the color. There are a few cheaper 3D printed lucets on etsy, but it is clear they didn't take the time to develop the shape as well and usually are too flat. This is worth it, by far. I also received a tiny purple sheep, which is cute.
